Trainings in Scientific Facilitation for Engaged Research

Successful research today increasingly depends on collaboration, participation and engagement with society. Researchers are expected not only to produce excellent science, but also to design and manage collaborative processes with non-academic stakeholders and diverse forms of knowledge.

Scientific Facilitation provides the competencies needed to shape such processes. It supports researchers in reflecting on their roles, engaging stakeholders strategically and designing dialogue and collaboration that are both effective and scientifically robust. These skills are increasingly relevant for the implementation of engaged research as well as for national and international funding applications.

Our offer

  • Conception, implementation and moderation of trainings for universities, research institutions or research schools in Germany and Europe

  • Practical, interactively designed training with creative elements such as gamestorming, role-playing, peer-feedforwarding or LEGO Serious Play.

  • Individual content and methodological conception with regard to the respective circumstances and the target group.

  • All trainings are possible online as well as in presence. They can be conducted in German or English and usually last between 3 hours and two days.

  • Most of our trainings have between 15 and 30 participants. Depending on the number of participants, we use 1-3 trainers.
