Scope
This privacy policy provides users with information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.

The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz).

General information regarding the data collection
With each access to this offer, information is automatically collected by the web space provider or us. This information also referred to as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

Among other things, the following information is collected: Name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address.

Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the website’s contents. In this respect, the collection of the data is mandatory. Dealing with personal data
Definition: Personal data is any information that uniquely identifies a person. It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person.

This personal data includes the first name, surname, telephone number, and e-mail address.

This data is only collected, used and, if necessary, passed on by the provider if this is expressly permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection, processing, use, and passing on of the data.

Contact form
If you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, we store the information you provide in order to answer your inquiry and to be able to ask possible follow-up questions.

Integration of third-party services and content
Our offer sometimes includes content, services and performances of other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user’s browser, the transmission of the IP address is mandatory. The providers ( henceforth referred to as “third-party providers”) therefore collect the IP address of the respective user.

Even though we strive to use only third-party providers that only need the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among other things. If we have knowledge that the IP address is stored, we inform our users of this.

Cookies
This website uses the so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer from the server. They contain information about the browser, IP address, operating system and Internet connection. We do not pass this data on to third parties or link it to personal data without your consent.

Cookies fulfill two main tasks. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our offer and enable the correct display of the website. They are not used to introduce viruses or to launch programs.

Use of Matomo (formerly Piwik)
This website uses Matomo, an open source software that collects and stores data. This information is used for marketing and optimization purposes. Matomo creates usage profiles with a pseudonym from the data for this purpose. For these purposes, the software stores cookies (text files) on your computer, which can be used to analyze your use of the website. Your IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before storage. The data is stored on the provider’s servers in Germany.

If you do not want Matomo to store cookies, you have the option to prevent the installation of cookies via the settings of your browser (information on this can be found in the help function of the browser). In this case, you may not be able to use all functions of the offer.

Data economy
In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we store personal data only for as long as is necessary or required by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or the storage period ends, we block or delete the data.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection
You have the right to request information, free of charge, about the personal data stored by us and/or to request correction, blocking or deletion. Exceptions: It is the mandatory data storage for business processing or the data is subject to the legal obligation to retain.

In order to be able to consider a data block at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a blocking file for control purposes. If there is no legal archiving obligation, you can also request the deletion of the data. Otherwise, we will block the data if you so wish.

Changes to our privacy policy
In order to ensure that our privacy policy always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection statement will then apply the next time you visit our website.
