With delight we look back on an interactive and interdisciplinary summer school with PhD students of the German National Academic Foundation. In the beautiful location of the Zinzendorfhaus near Erfurt, we spent a week developing creative strategies in the field of science communication and discussing the benefits and challenges of public engagement.

Gamestorming, Storytelling and Science Poems

With a focus on future skills, we tried out gamestorming methods with LEGO and other materials, experimented with storytelling, science poems, stakeholder role-playing, and other interactive communication scenarios. A fantastic community of young researchers – it’s an honor to be part of their development!
