But how do I find a format that will excite visitors? How can I communicate my research in such a way that dialogues with society become possible? The practical and interactive workshop “Science Goes Public – How do I present my research to the public?” offers tips and tricks. The free workshop is aimed at scientists in the Metropole Ruhr who want to improve their skills in the areas of science communication and citizen dialogues. Participants will learn about international trends in science communication and best practice examples from European science festivals. After expert input, there will be an opportunity to develop their own communication idea for the WissensNacht Ruhr 2020.
