On the weekend 10-11 March 2018 DASA Dortmund celebrated a very special festival of ideas and inventions, crafting and tinkering. More than 6.500 visitors joined the Maker Community at the DASA Working World Exhibition.

For the third time, Maker Faire Ruhr invited people of all ages to discover exciting experiments surrounded by wooden typewriters, early televisions and manually driven printing machines. The setting of the DASA Working World Exhibition plus the large diversity of partners – from steampunks to quilting-clubs, from urban gardening to FabLabs, give Maker Faire Ruhr a particularly charming atmosphere.

Enjoy an article in the US “makezine” and some pictures from the event illustrate the charming hands-on atmosphere of this festival.
